Febuary Started with a bang.
Ok, Febuary is off to a running start.
On Friday 2-2-2007, Grandpa was at his new job for one month. He won a pair of tickets to the Hornets home game at the Ford Center. The game was good for a basket ball game, but it took us over an hour and a half to find a parking spot, so we were over and hour late for the game. Hornets Won. We don't really think we will be going back to another game though. OKC really needs to work on their parking down town.
Saturday Grandpa and I got up with the reality that we did not HAVE to go anywhere or do anything right away and the weather was nice enough for us to go do about anything we wanted to. So, we took our time and got around. First we went to breakfast and while looking for someplace new to eat, we ended up over by Danny and Angela's house. So, you know it, we went to see if we could get Danny & Family up. Well, we missed it by about half and hour, because Angela already had biscuits cooked. LOL We had a nice little visit with thema and the grandbabies. Jacob is still trying to get that walking down, but he has the dancing down pat. LOL Danny and Brittany were reading their books, they are trying to win something at their school. Emily was looking at her book, too!
Later in the day we were headed to see Grandad and Sara called to ask us if we wanted to eat dinner with her and her mom. Of course, we never pass up food. From there we all went down to see Grandad. They had already given him his bedtime medicine at his dinner so he slept most of the time that we were all there. We gave him kisses and let them go ahead and get him ready to go to bed. You have to go see him before they give him his bedtime pills at dinner time and take him to dinner in one of the group rooms or upstairs to the cafeteria before 4:00 p.m. and then they don't give him his meds until he gets back to his room and you can have a pretty good visit with him until the meds kick in. Then he gets to sleep through the night instead of waking up so early in the a.m..
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY....was at Aunt Jana's house this year. It was truly fun. We all laughed and giggled at the new commercials. Everyone brought lots of food and drinks and it was like ole home week. It was truly a good time had by all. Nancy, Kim, Jeanie & Wayne, Thomas and Reba, Jana, RoRo, Rhonda & Kerry, and me and Grandpa. Sara was there for a little while, but she went to go to a church party to watch the game. Yes, that snot nosed boy she likes was there at the church party....LOL....8^)
Those not there with us, were missed.
All in all, this month has started out pretty well. Let's keep it going like this.
