Hey, is the Moon Full?

Ok, Grandpa has had to be out of town for most of the last two weeks, working one place or the other, Tulsa, MacAlester, Guymon, you name it. He is one tired puppy!
Then on Weds. he has to meet with his boss for breakfast and he tells Grandpa that he is being offered a job at the main branch of the company in Witchita, Ks. and he has until the end of the month (that was 13 days) to make up his mind. Oh yes, and after 20 years of loyal service, if we don't move to Ks., Grandpa will not have a job with Carlson Systems anymore. Hmmmmm?
So, this morning, Thurs., Grandpa leaves for Guymon, OK again for a two day trip and he made it to MacArthur and I-40 to the Shell station and the motor in his truck locked up. Never fear, I went and pushed him out of the drive way and we waited for a salesman that helps us handle things like this, and he got Grandpa a rental car and he was off to Guymon, again.
On the brighter side of life, I was BLESSED with four of my 7 grandchildren today and I had a wonderful time. I laughed and smiled so much today, that my cheaks hurt. Jessica, Danny James, & Emily were out of school today for Fall Break and Jordan just had a blast playing with them all. Jordan is usually here in the mornings by herself and she was loving having Jessica with her, but she was just thrilled when Danny and Emily showed up. Earlier this week (Tues) we watch Jacob for a few hours and Jordan just thought it was her job to do everything for him. Jordan was very upset when I got a diaper out of the bag and pulled her dress up to show and tell me that she was a big girl with big girl panites. It was all better when I told her that the diaper was for Jacob. Then everything was alright. roflol.
This has been a week that Grammies live for. Memories all over the place. Honestly, good memories.
Life is Good, even with the junk that is thrown at us, life is wonderful.

Oct. is here with a Bang!

Well, after a lot of work by all, we finally got a garage sale together at Grandad's house. It took lots of work and words and tears and laughter, but we got one together in time for the All City Garage Sale in Lindsay this past Sat. Oct. 7, 2006. We sold so much stuff that it was amazing, but the even more amazing thing, is all the stuff we put back into the house. Oh My!
We were very tired and very happy that it was over, yet it is not completely over. We still need to have another sale to finish off the rest of the stuff that is still there that no one seems to want.
RoRo, Jana, I (Cheryl)and Grandad have had to deal with a lot of our own feelings while doing all this cleaning up and out and we came through it. Grandad is ok with it now and he knows that it needs to be finished.
RoRo, Jana, Sara, Bruce and I all went to see Grandad this past Sunday after we went to the lunch that Aunt Billie had for all the family at the Lindsay Golf Park. I was happy to see the family that showed up, but I sure wish that we had gotten hold of more folks to come.
Grandad was very happy to see us all and we had a very nice visit. When we left, Grandad walked us all to our cars. It is good to see him in his electric wheel chair, he can really go more places than he could in the one he had to push with his arms. Now all we have to do, is figure out how to get him and his electric wheel chair to be able to go with us places. ARE THERE ANY IDEAS?
Well we have had more memories and even though they were hard to make, they are still memories.
