In Loving Memory of Charley Ray Daniels

In Loving Memory of Charley Ray Daniels, "Chuck".
We have been watching over Chuck for the last few years and never knowing when or what was going on with his health. He had a massive stroke about five years ago and then was hit with Lung Cancer shortly after that. He went to church with us in Lindsay and asked for healing prayer. The doctors finally did surgery and removed 1/3 of his lung. He was healed. His physical health was pretty good for a while and then he started going down hill again about a year ago. He has been in and out of the ER so much that all of the staff new him on site. Chuck was just so tired that he did not have the will to keep fighting. We lost Chuck on Thurs. Jan. 11, 2007.
Due to the nasty Ice Storm that has hit us, we will be holding off the funeral until the weather clears a little. Due to cercumstances beyond anyone, we had to have Chuck cremated. Since we did, we can have his services when the weather clears.
Keep Bruce and all of Chucks family in your prayers, it has been a rough time.
Sad memories, but memories anyway.

Have a BLESSED 2007

We are wishing each and every person in our lives a Blessed 2007. This is the year that The Lord Hath made. I am claiming health, wealth and happiness for everyone I know, in the coming year. We can let things get us down or we can look for the possitive in everything. I have to remind myself to do this, a lot, so with everyones help, we can all do it. There will be things that will try us, but it is how we handle it that counts. Prayer helps us handle all things, even death and disappointment.

Each of us has been blessed in the past year in ways that we did not realize until it was well past us. Then like a bolt of lightening, it hit us that we had been blessed. I know I have been that way.

We have had lots of illness in our combined families and it has brought us together at special times. This year, lets try to get together more, when there is not and illness or a threat of death to someone we love. We have to MAKE the time, I know that as well as anyone. Sometimes, a few minutes of our time to a shut in family member is like an all day visit.

My Daddy, Grandad, Great Grandad, Uncle Gene or just Gene, whatever you call him, he just loves to have company, even if it is for just a few minutes. Daddy may not remember the exact day you were there, so we ask that everyone that goes to see him sign the calendar that is hanging on his wall by his bed, on the day that you were there. That way we can show him that you have been there. He is still talking about the Christmas Eve party we had with him. He thinks it was longer ago than it is, but he still remembers it. His memory is a little shaky, but he still want to see people.

Bruces, brother, Chuck, Uncle Chuck etc. is also a shut in pretty much. Since his stroke, he has to depend on others for transportation anywhere. We have had Chuck in the ER at different hospital over 6 times in the last two months. He has been in Presbyterian Hospital now for a month. He has had two lung surgeries and is looking at a third surgery on Jan. 2, 2007. He spent two weeks of that time in ICU. Rose, his companion, is very ill herself and has not been able to be up there everyday like she wants to be, but she is there at least every other day. Chuck is now in room 613 on the West side of the hospital. He would love company from someone. He is still talking about Danny coming by to pray for him. It ment a lot to him.

Thomas is getting married to Reba Wilson on Jan. 27, 2007. We are very proud to welcome Reba into our family. They will become parents sometime in July of 2007. Looks like we are getting another sweet little girl grandbaby. God is good!

Keep our family members that are not in as good of health as we wish there were in your prayers. When you get a few minutes, call them or go by and see them.

Lets make wonderful memories this year.
